King of the Catch is hiring writers to create authentic and persona-based articles for King of the Catch. At the moment, we receive over 10,000 unique visitors per month and the site is growing rapidly to become the number one site for fishing fanatics to unite.
We’re looking for experienced fishing enthusiasts with good knowledge to share, but it’s okay if you’re just a passionate hobbyist who is just getting started.
If you’d like to get paid for your fishing knowledge, and earn a little extra to pay for your hobby, then this is a great opportunity.
PAYMENT. We pay $0.04 per word, and our articles are all either 1,000, 2,000, or 3,000 words in length. So you’ll be paid either $40, $80, or $120 per article depending on the length. Article lengths are assigned based on the topic, so you’ll know up-front how much you’ll be paid for your efforts.
CREDIT. Writers will have their bio appear on their articles and you can mention a social media profile in that bio if you choose to build up an audience over time. However, some articles may be requested to be ghost written. For example, if we reviewed a particular tackle gear on our channel, we may request that a writer create an article based on our opinions and experience with the tackle and publish it under another name.
OWN EXPERIENCE. You will need to provide your own high-quality photos (a minimum of three per article) or videos. We are not interested in quick snapshots with your cellphone. It has to look professional, clean and will be marked by us with the King of the Catch watermark logo. Now, that does not mean you can’t take pictures with your cellphone, just make sure they are of good quality, lightning, sharp, colors, positioning of the subject etc.
REVIEWS. Our main focus is tackle gear reviews. When you sign up, please provide a list of fishing gear that is part of your tackle box. We will discuss which gear we like to have reviewed for our website. Other articles like “How to” are also welcome.
OWNERSHIP. You understand and agree that all photos, videos, written content, and all other media submitted to Kingofthecatch.com becomes the exclusive property of NT Consulting BV. and you do not have the right to republish that content on your own site.
LEGAL. This opportunity is available for writers around the world. This is a freelance writing gig and you will be an independent contractor. King of the Catch and Kingofthecatch.com are owned, operated, and published by NT Consulting BV., a company headquartered in Utrecht, The Netherlands.
